A lot of experts in the teaching/philosophy fields regularly talk about how a good reflective teacher is someone who doesn't accept anything. There is almost never 1 correct answer for a single question. And as a punk: there has been nearly countless things that I just don't, and have never bothered to agree with. For example basically every single political action preformed in the years 2016-2018 has been little more then a pathetic Racist Nazi-joke that people shouldn't accept for countless logical reasons. Some reasons as basic as just protecting children from bad experiences: nuclear fallout etc will always be a bad experience. A reflective teacher often is able to solve problems that someone who just accepts things; wont ever solve. That part of how I approach my own writing.
My Own Self Goal/Philosophy of Education regarding the professor label: is too have people learn from history. Of course the Punk culture/rock music industries have their own history-outside of just standardized government history: that is often forgotten about or over looked when looking at modern history. For example when looking at groups and communities the music industry is one of the most diversified and Multi-Cultured groups in all of world history. Multi-cultured is the best way to define my community of students and peer professors. I personally feel it would be odd if classes failed to be diverse. A diversified culture increase learning capabilities of all, since there are many different ways for an individual to learn. This is also why history is important, so the past actions that are unreasonable can be avoided in the future. I feel that is the basic role of many History Teachers. And again I am a punk, influenced by music and a diverse modern culture.
There are also a lot of modern knowledge such as in depth studies which fail to influence the government system. Or rather a more correct way of saying that, is the Government systems ignore recent educated studies. Which studies may you ask? Well, fields like Basic Evolution Facts, Social Science, Psychology, The History of Failing, Behavioral Science, Medicine Facts, Sexual Education, Neuro Science, Studies on the harmful effects of censorship, outdated laws, and unnecessary police brutality.. If anything more punks are need in education and politics to fix the problems the pop-culture has caused for generations. How long has the government been ignoring vast amounts of educational studies? A good starting point would be to begin looking at the 1960’s, and depending on who is in government, educational facts can be ignored long before even the 1600’s. In which case an uneducated government can easily send the world back to the middle ages of Europe or even before.
Global awareness is directly related towards history and politics. This is why everyone also talks about how bad things are, since many people are restricted and censored in a modern culture by outdated policies. History shows what works and what doesn’t work. Many love history because of the wars and violence but there is more too it then that. Those that censor history only cause harm to their students over all successful growth.
Ill try too meet the community half way on certain topics. A single parent shouldn't influence an entire classroom. A parent should parent their children to do the best of their ability/own developmental level. If history offends you then do something to change the future. There isn’t a half way point when it comes to the large amounts of violence in history’s long time line. Altering history with false information is a tradition found in many teacher’s lessons plans. These lies add too their students confusion. I plan to try my best to give correct information in a society that has been built on lies caused by censorship: when all of history is that of death. When you censor reality/history you have nothing but lies.
You can message me on various media platforms and by this site. If you find me on a site other then this one, there is a chance that it isn’t fully related towards teaching. So look at your own risk, and do as you wish. I do feel complaining about teacher free-time is something society cares way too much about. I do agree that teachers shouldn’t be getting too involved with students and things like that should be looked at by the community. I personally don’t think that I will have that issue, since I plan to be done teaching my assigned students when I leave the campus. I think its important to know when you have free time and when you must study.
For my students and concerned parents of students in classes I am associated with: rather if that concern is of students behavior or their grades etc. Please make a note immediately of what class you, and or your child is taking part in: when contacting me. I'll try to get back to you when I can. As for some advise for parents who are considering emailing/contacting me, remember that too much nurturing can stunt your child's own growth. If you haven't talked to you kid/child/teen first about an issue you want to contact me about. Talk to them first, and make sure you are both on the same page. I’ll see what I can do about the concern. However, if there is an issue in own family relationship: I suggest contacting a psychologist/family councilor to benefit both of you. There are of course many family though-out history that fail to get along with one another. I think this also plays a part in my professor status/personal philosophy. You will be able to find my email on the syllabubs handed out during class.
